Panic attacks seem to be becoming a more common occurrence for people, this sentence should not dismiss the levels of distress they put you through. No matter how often you go through these attacks, they are still very real and scary. If you’re experiencing panic attacks for the first time, I hope this article helps ease your mind a little. If you are someone who deals with them often then pick up a few of these stones and find comfort in them.
Panic attacks can look like a couple different things and can occur based on many different situations. Some people get them from overstimulation, whether that’s too much noise, too many people, or simply an overactive mind. They are caused by your inner triggers which can be any from a specific date, person, place, sound, smell, or anything really. Your trauma triggers the fight or flight chemical reaction in your body which is why you feel like you have no control. When I personally start to feel a panic attack coming on I remind myself that it won’t last forever. That I am grounded and safe, and that I can get through anything.
I’ll get into which crystals can help the most but first I want to tell you about worry stones. Worry stones are a type of shaped crystal, a flat rounded stone with a divot. These stones are my go-to tool for panic attacks or anxiety in general. You can hold onto them, fidget with them, or do breathing exercises using them. I typically run my thumb up, breathing in, circle around the stone a few times holding your breath, and finally coming back down while breathing out. This exercise helps take yourself out of your head, and match your vibration with whichever healing stone you chose.

Amethyst as we know is a master healer, it can do just about anything. Although it’s main use is for stress and anxiety. Amethyst protects you from fear and can help you step out of a panic state.
Blue Lace Agate
Blue Lace is especially helpful when you have panic attacks associated with social anxiety. It is thought to help release you from gloominess and protect you from panic attacks with its soothing, calming vibrations. It helps you breathe easier, bringing you inner harmony.
Smokey Quartz
Smokey Quartz releases fear, negative or tense energy that can lead to panic attacks. It’s one of the best healing stones for relieving tension, fear, sorrow, grief, stress, anxiety, jealousy, anger, panic attacks and all of those other negative emotions that can be disrupting your healing.
Bloodstone
Bloodstone focuses on your physical body, if you tend to react to panic attacks by shaking, fainting, or getting nauseous, etc, then bloodstone is for you. It can teach your body to release tension and will help you with controlling your heart rate.

Wear jewelry with your healing crystal of choice. A necklace is great to keep the stone close to your chest, which can help radiate a sense of calm whenever you feel your heart start to race. A bracelet or ring are better choices if you tend to fiddle with your fingers or find that you must hold something between your fingers when you’re feeling anxious.
